Our internship program runs every summer for college students and recent graduates. Interns work on live projects, get paired with a mentor, and finish the summer with something real to show for it.
We post internship openings every January for the following summer. Positions are available across retail banking, lending, operations, credit, and community programs. All applications go through our careers portal — no separate application process.
Applications open each January
Selected applicants are invited to interview with the team they'd be working with. Interviews are conversations, not interrogations — we want to know what you're interested in, what you've done, and what you want to learn. No trick questions, no whiteboard coding.
Offers are extended by mid-April so you have time to plan your summer. Internships are paid — an hourly rate competitive with other community bank programs — and run for 10–12 weeks from late May through mid-August.
From your first week, you're assigned to a live project with a defined deliverable — not a shadowing role, not a filing backlog. Past interns have worked on branch efficiency projects, credit analysis, marketing campaigns, community program design, and process automation.
Every intern is paired with a mentor — usually a mid-level or senior employee in a related department — who meets with you weekly. You'll also have regular check-ins with your manager and an end-of-summer review to talk about what you learned and where you'd like to go next.
Around 60% of our interns receive full-time offers at the end of the summer — and about half of those accept. If you finish the program and do well, you'll have a real path into the bank. Even if you don't join us, you'll leave with practical experience, references, and a clear sense of what banking work actually looks like.
